Traditions Keeper Program

The »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ Traditions Keeper Program encourages participation in several activities that are core to the »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ student experience. This effort builds more profound student experiences and later creates shared ground among alumni – even long after their student experience is over.

These experiences are tracked by points on . Once you receive 20 points, you are eligible for a free t-shirt and once you receive 30 points, you are eligible for a free graduation cord! A member of the Student Alumni Ambassador leadership team will reach out to you with instructions on how to claim your rewards once you reach these milestones.


  • Attend the Mane Event
  • Attend Lion Launch or Cub Camp
  • See Cub Camp from the other side by becoming a staff member
  • Visit 10 tables at Block Party
  • Giddy-up at the Howdy Dance (and maybe try the mechanical bull?)
  • Become a part of something special and join a Recognized Student Organization
  • Show your Lion Pride at one of our Homecoming events or participate in one of our Homecoming activities. 
  • Bring your family and friends to Family Weekend
  • Present at the Student Research Symposium
  • Cheer on your Lady Lions at a volleyball game
  • Grab your lawn chair and attend a Lions baseball game
  • Watch or perform with your classmates in Theater at »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ
  • Take a photo with Numa
  • Plan your future at the Career Fair
  • Go to the Haunted Union/Trunk or Treat
  • Post your vacation selfies with #RoamingNuma 
  • Try your luck at Casino Night
  • Take a study break at Late Night Breakfast
  • Celebrate at Numa’s Birthday Party
  • Attend NUMAs
  • Visit an art exhibit in Windgate Art & Design
  • Volunteer with Lion Hearts
  • Donate blood at a »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ drive
  • Join an intramural team
  • Climb the RAWC wall
  • Cast your vote in an SGA election
  • Attend a Movie Night on campus
  • Meet the dean of your college
  • Catch our chancellor, Dr. Terisa Riley, on campus and take a photo with her
  • Go through sorority or fraternity recruitment
  • Attend a Career Services workshop
  • Use resources in the Boreham Library
  • Find a mentor on campus
  • Take a photo in front of the Bell Tower
  • Get some hot chocolate and visit with UPD at Cocoa with the Po-Po
  • Get your teeth cleaned at the Pendergraft Health Sciences Center
  • Put your hammock up at the Lounging Lion Hammock Grove
  • Get a job on campus
  • Take a senior photo on campus in your cap and gown
  • Decorate your cap for graduation
  • Buy a brick for Lion Pride Square
  • Live on campus for at least one semester
  • Make the Dean's List

Complete and log 20 of these items to get a free T-shirt; complete and log 30 to get a cord to wear at graduation.
