Class Notes, September 2024

1940s

Walter Levy, ‘41, is a retired social worker with seven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren in Dallas, Texas.

1970s

Ed Standifird, ‘75, officially retired from a long career. He was in management at Sears, a minister for five years, helped rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and lately has been a speaker for funerals. He lives in Porum, Oklahoma.

1990s

Jennifer Eslow, ‘96, retired this year from »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ on June 30. She started working here as a student worker in 1994.

Starleen Jones, ‘96, worked for Beverly Enterprise/Golden Living for over 18 years in Pocola, Oklahoma.

2000s

Chrystal Richardson, ‘01, has been married for 22 years, and has two kids, Lakeya and Zi’Yahn Richardson. She calls Fort »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ, »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ, home. 

2010s

Tara King, ‘10, graduated with a master’s degree from »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ Tech. She is now a certified teacher in »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ.

Amy Broadway, ‘17, started a business using the knowledge she gained in her business classes at »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ. She had her first baby in August 2023 in Poteau, Oklahoma.

Justin Martin, ‘18, was promoted to Director of Advising for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ – Fort »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ. 

Tommi Vorabouth, ‘18, recently won the highest achievement at his workplace, DB Schenker, and was promoted to Carrier Logistics Manager.

Abigale Dunn, ‘19, won the Future Leader Award from the 2024 Community Development Leader Awards in Hot Springs, »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ.

Daiquon and Santana Jackson, ‘19 and ‘20, are married and are expecting their first child on September 19 in Fort »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ, »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ.

2020s

Skylar Martin, ‘24, started a new job one month after graduating in Van Buren, »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ.

Taylor Youngblood, ‘24, graduated from the University of Central »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ in May with a K-12 Administration degree and has accepted a new position as Dean of Students at eStem School District in Little Rock, »¨¼¾ÊÓƵ.
