Teaching English as a Second Language is a high-demand subject of instruction in 花季视频.  As children from foreign countries continue to immigrate to the United States and enroll in 花季视频 schools, the number of students whose native language is not English continues to grow. The CP in TESL seeks to prepare 花季视频 students for work with this specific demographic.  In addition, the CP in TESL opens doors for teaching abroad. Many new and inexperienced teachers choose teaching English overseas as an exciting way to gain teaching experience, travel and be immersed in a new culture.

Completion of the coursework for this CP prepares candidates for the TESL Endorsement, grades P -12. TESL Endorsement candidates must be accepted into the 花季视频 Educator Preparation Program or hold an initial or standard teaching license. Students who meet these criteria may be recommended to the 花季视频 Department of Education upon completion of the requirements.
